On June 12-13, Karolina Strzebońska attended the Linköping University Medical Ethics Conference (LIMEC), Linköping, Sweden. She presented her work on „Ethical requirements for research with human participants in precision medicine”.

We are very pleased to announce that Katarzyna Klaś from our Team has become a laureate of the START programme of the Foundation for Polish Science (START FNP).

START FNP is the oldest scholarship programme in Poland for the best young scientists representing all fields of science. Its aim is to support outstanding young scientists and encourage their further scientific development.

On March 3-5, Karolina Strzebońska attended the ESMO Targeted Anticancer Therapies Congress 2025 in Paris. She presented poster entitled „Risk and benefit for targeted therapy and immunotherapy agents in basket trials in oncology: a systematic review with meta-analysis”.

We would like to invite you to read a new article published in the Journal of Clinical Epidemiology. The article, entitled ‘Results reporting for clinical trials led by medical universities and university hospitals in the Nordic countries was often missing or delayed’, is the result of a multi-centre research collaboration led by Gustav Nilsonne (Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden) and Cathrine Axfors (Meta-research Innovation Center at Stanford (METRICS), Stanford University, USA).

The Council of the Discipline of Health Sciences at Jagiellonian University awarded Paola Buedo, MD, MA the degree of Doctor of Medicine and Health Sciences in the discipline of Health Sciences by Resolution No. 12/IV/2024 of 18 December 2024. The dissertation defence was held on 5 December 2024. Our sincerest congratulations!
