On August 21-24, 2024, Katarzyna Klas and Marcin Waligora participated in the 36th European Conference on Philosophy of Medicine and Health Care: “Medicine, healthcare, and the market”. The conference was held in Frankfurt/Offenbach, Germany.

We invite you to read our new article published in Journal of Deaf Studies and Deaf Education. The aim of this study was to explore ethical issues related to the engagement of Deaf people into research, basing on their experiences and perspectives.

We would like to invite you to participate in an online course entitled: New Directions in Clinical Trials organized by the Medical Research Agency. The training will take place on June 20, 2024. During the course Marcin Waligora will give a presentation entitled: Risks and benefits of basket and umbrella clinical trials. The training will be in Polish.

Marcin Waligora attended the 8th World Conference on Research Integrity. The conference took place in Athens – Greece on June 2-5, 2024. He presented the result of the study ‘More ethics in the laboratory, please! Scientists’ perspectives on ethics in the preclinical phase’.
