On 26-27 June, REMEDY team members Paola Buedo and Katarzyna Klaś participated in the Oxford Global Health and Bioethics International Conference.
Paola Buedo presented the results of the study ‘How to embed ethics into laboratory research’ and Katarzyna Klaś presented ‘Ethical challenges of clinical trials with a repurposed drug in outbreaks’.
The Oxford Global Health and Bioethics International Conference takes place every two years.
It brings together a broad bioethics community to debate critical issues in global health bioethics, to exchange experience and ideas, and to build networks and collaborations.
The conference is organised by the Global Infectious Disease Ethics (GLIDE) Collaborative, a partnership between the Johns Hopkins Berman Institute for Bioethics, and the Ethox Centre/Wellcome Centre for Ethics and Humanities at the University of Oxford.
